Deck Primer

This deck looks complicated, but it really isn’t.

Your game should ideally start with Proton, or a Transceiver to get Proton. You usually want to bench: 1 Mewtwo, 2 Tarountula, or 1 Mimikyu for free retreat options, or 1 Articuno if you’re playing against a deck that has bench snipe. Your main attacker is Mewtwo, but attacking with Spidops is also really good—especially against Tera Charizard and Grimmsnarl.

Your main attacker is Mewtwo, but attacking with Spidops is also really good—especially against Tera Charizard and Grimmsnarl.

Try to discard at least 2 Energy so that your Spidops can gain Energy and Mewtwo can instantly discard them to do 280 damage. You usually want to put a Max Belt or Bravery Charm on Mewtwo. The Energy on Mewtwo should be one Team Rocket’s Energy and one Grass. For Spidops, use either 2 Grass or 1 Grass and 1 Psychic.

 

Last but not least, the tech card in this deck is Clefairy ex, mainly used to get an instant KO with Weakness on Dragon-types, such as Dragapult. So, if you’re sure you aren’t playing against a Dragapult deck, you can discard it with Ultra Ball or Earthen Vessel.
