Is Arceus VSTAR supposed to give energy to Charizard? That won't work, because Charizard is an EX.

Sorry if it isn't, just to make sure this deck works right. :)

Starmie23 i think the arceus is for starbirth, but I'm not super sure why it's a 2-1 line because if uii

prize the vstar then the 2 v's are useless, a 1-1 or a 2-2 makes more sense to me

Thanks, didnt know

also btw what is brilliant charizard from the description?

I think a 2-1 would be consistent enough, the Starbirth isn't integral to the strat.

I think it might be worth swapping one of the DarkZards for the regular fire Zard ex, just to make sure Venasaur is kept down. I know there's the Radiant Zard,  but if you don't get it then that's an issue. Also gives another option for a different attacker.

@Starmie23, Brilliant Charizard is a misnaming of the Radiant Charizard, a fire type basic Radiant pokemon that has 160 hp, an ability that decreases your attack cost by 1 colorless for each prize your opponent has taken, and qn attack for 1 fire and 4 colorless that does 250 damage and can't be used the next turn.

I know this is a very popular deck, but I just don't really understand it. How does Arceus help Charizard? Since this is a very popular deck I gotta be missing something.

@XxABSOLxX

Arceus is there for Starbirth.
