If you can get Fan Rotom out on your first turn, you can set yourself up with a Bouffalant shield and have Noctowl ready in your hand for your next turn, all without having to expend multiple trainer cards to pull all these mons. Cheren's Care puts Terapagos back in your hand and is essentially an instant heal so you can start the whole process again. With Crispin in hand, it can be ready to use Unified Beatdown in the same turn and just keep going.

I did have a Super Rod in originally when play testing but found that by the time I needed to use it, it was too late and the game was already decided by that point. Night Stretcher is more beneficial to get that Terapagos or Bouffalant back in case you need it to finish out the late game.
