The main engine for this deck is Chien-Pao with it's ability. Pidgeot allows you to search your deck for a deck and put in in your hand. Maybe you could do Boss's Orders or a extra Water Energy. The main engine for this deck is Chien-Pao with it's ability. Pidgeot allows you to search your deck for a deck and put in in your hand. Maybe you could do Boss's Orders or a extra Water Energy. It all depends. Blastoise allows you to do massive damgage, (280 or 310 max) which allows you to one-shot some EX pokemon. Not to mention, but VSTAR's don't have a chance either. Chien-Pao EX in the backround can still do something, but usually you would want to keep it protected since it only has so much HP. Same goes for Pidgeot EX. This deck's main goal is to either use Quick Search to get Boss's Orders and be on the offensive, or make a comeback using Capacious Bucket. This deck would be good in  facing Mew MAX, Arceus VSTAR, and others. The reason why this applies is because V and VSTAR's are worth 2 prize cards. Also, they can have no more that 280 HP. VMAX pokemon are a easy W because Blastoise is very, very, VERY tanky. Blastoise can be fine getting attacked for 3 turns. Also, Blastoise can 2-shot all VMAX. I would say, honestly, that Blastoise might become the best deck someday. The sheer comeback percentage would be very high. You could one-shot Lugia VSTAR, tank a hit, and knock the other Lugia VSTAR out of the park. Here's what I got for a hand:

This hand is good because on the first turn, you can attach a energy to Squirtle. Then, on the second turn, Arven up Rare Candy and Forest Seal Stone. Discard the two cards you drew this and last turn, and play Ultra Ball. Then, get Blastoise and evolve. Attach a energy and then knock out your opponents active pokemon (if you can). Next turn, play Irida to get Lumineon, and search your deck for any supporter. Then, attach Forest Seal Stone and get Chien-Pao. This is a very good setup that will win most games.

I find your description a bit confusing. Capacious Bucket is rotated and this deck is not expanded format. As for the playability, consistency is hurting. It's very rare to get the "winning" starting hand. And as well as it does work when the card gods allow it, miraidon ex dominates this deck. Very rare that Chien Pao survives even with being overprotective. Targeting Chien Pao has become primary defense against water decks including CH-Pao. It's a good deck and this comment is purely discussary, not trying to bag on your deck because I did like playing it at locals this week.
