The Crunch-Time Rush

Okay, I'm back at it again. Here's another one of my bad ideas. Inspired by the Excadrill Deck [https://pokemoncard.io/deck/excadrill-1128] and reborn to play in the new format!

Alright, so this deck is very confusing. (When are my decks not?) The general idea is to use Radiant Steelix's attack, then you can loop around while attacking with Orthworm. Well, it's easier said than done. First you actually have to get set up.

So the way to get setup with this deck is pretty simple.

Alright, so this deck is very confusing. (When are my decks not?) The general idea is to use Radiant Steelix's attack, then you can loop around while attacking with Orthworm. Well, it's easier said than done. First you actually have to get set up.

So the way to get setup with this deck is pretty simple. You're going to want to go first, but it won't be bad if you end up going second either. This deck uses the same beginning draw mechanics as Charizard ex, with Battle VIP Pass, Arven, and Rotom V. If you manage to get Battle VIP Pass(es) on your first turn, then the most important pokemon to get on your bench are Orthworm, Pidgeot V, and Radiant Steelix, and if they aren't there, then you can use Hisuian Heavy Ball. The rest is up to you. Remember, you need to be charging Radiant Steelix up!

Once you get a better setup you can start using some of the other options. There's Aegislash ex if you get behind, a normal Aegislash to stall, and Magnezone to stall. If your opponent brings up a strong pokemon such as Giratina VSTAR, Mew VMAX, or Charizard ex, or any of their previous evolutions, you should attack them with Radiant Steelix.

Once you have attacked with Radiant Steelix then you must begin the loop with Pidgeot V. If Path to the Peak is in play, that is your top priority. Get rid of it. You pretty much then have one turn to do something about it, and there is some Workers and a Lost Vaccum to get rid of it too. Once your at this point you can start attacking with Orthworm, and you'll probably know what to do. Good luck!
