This is a simple deck. Get venomoth out as quickly as possible to item lock your opponent. When your opponent takes a prize card, use a counter catcher to bring up a useless pokemon from the bench, then get spidops out so they can not retreat. nice, maybe another venomoth

I was thinking about having 4 of them but I decided I would rather have 3 venomoth and 2 super rod to recycle venomoth and everything else as opposed to 4 venomoth and only 1 super rod (plus when I play this deck I find I only need 3 venomoth and want more super rods).

Level Ball and Bruno are rotating out of standard soon. What do you think should replace them?

I am going to replace battle VIP with buddy buddy poffin. I will replace level ball with a master ball ace spec, and 3 great balls. I will replace 2 bruno with Salvatore. reads:

Search your deck for a Pokémon, except any Pokémon with an Ability, that evolves from 1 of your Pokémon in play and put it on that Pokémon to evolve it. Then, shuffle your deck. (You can use this card on a Pokémon that was put into play when setting up to play or on the turn it was put into play.)

That only draws 2 cards, and venemoth only needs 1 energy to attack so there is no point in using a supporter for turn to attach 2 energy for a one energy attack (plus it only attaches to one benched pokemon).
