Deck Primer

Here's a fun deck that I've been enjoying lately. Swap out a Gardevoir or Espathra ex for the regular versions of each to ensure some damage against those pesky Aegislash and Mimikyu cards (or you can try using Xatu).

Early game: Pokémon variety. I try to get at least one of each on the board, and two of either Flittle or Ralts depending on what my opponent plays. Get that Kirlia ASAP and Espathra ex to stall the opponent.

Mid Game: Espathra ex really shines here. Keep it in your active slot

Mid Game: Espathra ex really shines here. Keep it in your active slot and power your Kirlia with Xatu while cutting remaining Battle Passes and other cards where possible. I tend to cut energy or basic pokémon as Tulip will get them back for me if I need them down the road. Use Iono freely - especially when your opponent uses Arven to set up an evolution. Very fun. Sacrafice Manaphy/Radiant Geninja/Xatu/Flittle/Kirlia (my preferred order) as necessary.

Late Game: Depending on how things have gone, you'll either be invested in Espathra or Gardevoir. Use one to play interference for the other and chip away at their weak or damaged pokémon.
