Make your opponent salty with the big minecraft salt block! If I were a youtuber that would be a great clickbait title.

The Deck:

Fighting gets literally no energy acceleration, and I don't know why. Poor Korraidon ex is ending your turn completely while Baxcalibur and Charizard ex are setting up entire mons on turn two with almost no drawback.

The Deck:

Fighting gets literally no energy acceleration, and I don't know why. Poor Korraidon ex is ending your turn completely while Baxcalibur and Charizard ex are setting up entire mons on turn two with almost no drawback.

Anyway, Ting-Lu rocks (or it grounds, I guess). It turns off abilities while it's in the active, which means it can completely shut down popular Pokemon like Comfey, Cramorant, Baxcalibur, Bibarel, Genesect V, and Archeops. A major downside of its ability is that it requires damage counters on the Pokemon you want to prevent from using abiltiies which means it has to attack, and prior to Paradox Rift this meant using Korraidon to attach on turn one and then hoping your active Ting-Lu isn't knocked out as you build up another, but now we can use Garganacl to remedy this - allowing us to use Penny to put damaged Ting-Lu-s into the hand and then immediatley build up a replacement greatly increasing the deck's survivability.

Hawlucha can place damage counters on Jirachi (Paradox Rift) which would otherwise block Ting-Lu's attack, and is generally a nuisance in the early game; while Terrakion can help against cards like Roaring Moon ex and Giratina VSTAR, which could otherwise KO Ting-Lu through its bulk, as well as providing a favourable prize trade against lower HP mons like half of Lost Box.

Everything else is as expected. The deck does well against most decks, though can struggle against Gardy depending on how quickly they get set up.

Other Options:

You could opt to run Professor Turo's Scenario over Penny - it puts your energy straight into the discard for Garganacl but will also discard Bravery Charm which I thought was enough of a negative to warrant not running it. Radiant Alakazam and Gapejaw Bog both can help spread damage counters, buuut I prefer the draw power of Greninja and Pokestop (you could probably run Gapejaw as a one-of without too much issue, though).

I couldn't find room for cards like Gutsy Pickaxe or Battle VIP Pass, though they could also be beneficial. I'm also tempted to run Technical Machine: Evolution in every deck with evolving mons now but I don't think its worth the space all things considered.

Make your opponent into a TING-LUSER. that would be a great title too. They should pay me for this sort of thing.

Honestly, this has a pretty solid matchup into most standard Gardevoir lists. Ping the Zacian, Greninja, and a few ralts, and that takes away acceleration from the Zacian and the attacker Gardevoir, as well as draw power from Kirlias and the Greninja. However, it doesn't have enough hp to safely handle Scream Tail, which can easily swing for a 160 snipe and up to 280 on turn 2 if they hit their rare candy. Be careful, but this looks like fun!

There should be a cost calculator that counts the token requirements for Liva as well, and factors in the stuff this most people will have like Research and Candys.

Actually this looks pretty solid. I've pulled quite a bit of NaCl line on Live. Don't have the TingLu, but I have quite a few of the baby Groudon that discards energy from your mons and does damage, like Chein. I'll try it with that and see what happens!

Maybe I'll try it with Arven and TM Evo.

Arven is so much better than he gets credit for.

I love tool cards, they are so underrated.

I'll actually have space for them, if I take out the Charms.

Except this thing bites it against Tail. Not too much of an issue I bet, other decks are much more popular.

NoGoodNames You definitely need the Charms in this list, 290 is a great number to hit since you can survive a Lost Impact (and also coincidentally an attack from Scream Tail, since it caps at 280 too lol). Iunno about Groudon, maybe it would be better suited with Claydol (Silver Tempest) to make turboing into multiple with TM Evo easier since Groudon requires a lot more energy attachment per turn

I meant more for a Groudon variant, to remove the charms. Yeah, 290 is the perfect math to make most decks cringe.

Gosh darnint, looking at the Claydol led me to a Claydoll/Whishcash mill deck that looks so stupid it might work. Whiscash mills 1 for each energy attached. It plays no supporters, and does no damage, but you only need to mill the right cards, or mill enough at the right time. Also it runs 4 reversal energy because of course it does. 2 Claydol and one Reversal mills 5 cards. That is stupid.

The only problem it really has is that it doesn't hit any of the quests on the  battlepass. Those are for supporters or tools played, or stuff like KOs and damage or exs played. More for grinding than anything, but it makes so many deck have to be careful how low they get.

Looking at then next set, Paldaen Fates, I see that there's gonna be a Garganacl ex now, so now I can make Garganacl box but good.
