Deck Primer

This is some test listings for a deck I would like to build on the upcoming Gimmeghoul and Gholdengo EX cards from Paradox Rift.

For the purpose of tests, I substituted the two cards with the Bidoof Bibarel line.

Add meatball and/or battle vip pass to help you set up. I'd also recommend adding a few stadiums, although which ones you run are up to you.

edit: my previous comment should say nest ball. Auto correct ruined that

AlphaNova , Meatballs sound fine to me :P

And yes, I totally forgot about the nest balls, haha. What to cut is the hard part, and even more if I add Stadiums. I thought about adding the one that heals Metal (and dragon) for 30, but Cheryll can already do a better job. Do you have any recommendation?

The two stadiums that come to mind are Crystal Cave (Evolving Skies) (though you're right, Cheryl does a better job) andArtazon (Paldea Evolved) (probably the better choice since it'll help with setup)

To be honest, 25 energy is a lot, so you could probably cut some and still find a ton of energy seeing as you're using lady and superior energy retrieval, plus a ton of draw power between revavroom and gholdengo, so maybe you could cut around 5 for three nest balls and two artazons? It's really up to you, but I hope these suggestions have helped

You're right about the amount of energy being a lot. A wasn't sure with other energy-heavy decks having around 30 (flareon vmax, kyurem, simisear vstar, etc), but I'll certainly try Artazon out. I feel like crystal cave won't be enough to stop Gholdengo from being 1-2hko, though it does wonders in my Hisuian Vstar deck.

Thank you for the tips!

Since you're playing 20 energy, you might want radiant Greninja, because even with revavroom you can still start with 5-6 energy and a nest ball can turn that into a draw 2 cards.

That is a very good point. I'm thinking about removing 1 ultra ball or 1 revavroom (unless 3 Gholdengo EX lines is enough?)
