Thumpalanche Onix

Thumpalanche Onix is more of a meme deck than a rogue deck... but with enough luck, it's going swing hard... even if it mulligans quite a few times before you find the Onix you need.

This decks begs the question: "Should I put in cards for more consistency and longevity?" or "Should I find even more pokemon with retreat cost 4"

I don't know the answer to that question, but the fact that I have to ask it likely means the deck won't ever get off the ground seriously.

- One copy of Ditto (151) to function as a "5th Onix" to help reduce mulligans
- Artazon and Ultra ball to hopefully find more Onix while you play
- 4 copies of Double Turbo Energy, Energy Loto (Astral Radiance) and Trekking Shoes (Astral Radiance) to increase the odds of stumbling  into a Double Turbo
- Ultra Ball was chosen over Nest Ball to enable Miriam (Scarlet & Violet) as a way to discard pokemon. (also Nest Ball is like a dollar... and we can't waste that much money on this deck)

- Your deck starts with 60 cards
    - 7 cards go in hand
    - 6 cards go to your prizes
- 47 cards remain
    - Drawing for your turn takes a card
    - Attacking with Onix discards 5 more
- In a perfect scenario, you only have 7 turns to attack with 5 cards remaining.

So even  if you luck your way into a double turbo energy on the first turn... this deck will struggle to win against single-prize decks before running out of cards... It's also worth thinking about 4 copies of Super Rod (Paldea Evolved) as well. I personally would prefer the +2 in deck and +3 in hand from Miriam over the +3 in deck from Super Rod... but every card counts here, and Miriam doesn't add as many into the deck compared to Super Rod after you draw 3.
