Deck Primer

Hops Snorlax has 4 retreat? And it doesn't take colored energy. Meaning, you get to use Mela. Super underrated trainer, there. Ramp AND Card Draw? You kidding me? Yeah, knock my guy out, whatever. Plus, Thumpalanche doesn't take colors either. So then, you find One Decent Mon that uses Fire that has 4 retreat, that being Arcanine, and you've got yourself a core.

Why not add some boomerang energies for arcanines attack so you don't have to reload as much?

theovy While a good idea, Arcanine specifically says to discard Fire, not just 2 energy.
