I think double turbo energy is a crutch that zoroark v Star can overcome. By using gutsy pickaxe and koraidon and energy switch I'm typically able to set up zoroark pretty consistently and hitting for better numbers than with double turbo. I think double turbo energy is a crutch that zoroark v Star can overcome. By using gutsy pickaxe and koraidon and energy switch I'm typically able to set up zoroark pretty consistently and hitting for better numbers than with double turbo. With gabejaw bog in play and plus a full bench with no double turbo energies the zoroark can smash some pretty tough opponents. I had to find a basic energy that could accelerate halfway decently and I figured since tinglu also plays Gabe jaw bog it would be a good fit. I found through testing that they're a better fit than I could have imagined. This deck wants to go first in case you lead with Ting Liu and can get gabejaw bog out on turn one. If not then zoroark v is a good attacker on the first turn because while void return doesn't do much damage it lets you switch your active Pokemon to something like ting lu so you can shut off your opponent's abilities. Heavy path decks are tricky to overcome as well as fusion mew, and it still is overarch so luck of the draw is kind of something you got to put up with but this deck does pretty well against a lot of different strong decks and it sets up more often and with more possibilities than you would expect. Plus it's just fun as hell watching people scoop when you're playing any sort of ting lu deck. Hope everyone enjoys and thank you for checking out the deck
