Pikachu ex is honestly a pretty stellar (pun intended) archetype, it's ability is super good, making it unable to be OHKOed despite having a mere 200 HP, though this can be countered by decks that "put damage counters". Pikachu ex is honestly a pretty stellar (pun intended) archetype, it's ability is super good, making it unable to be OHKOed despite having a mere 200 HP, though this can be countered by decks that "put damage counters". Its attack is solid too, 300 dmg with the drawback of needing 3 different energy and discarding them all.

Mitigate the drawback with Sparkling crystal.

Mountain or Kieran to secure KOs on stage 2 exs. (made easier with Lumineon)

Blissey + trumpet for acceleration.

Crispin for braindead acceleration.

Turo scenario is crazy here, re-activating Pikachu's ability at no drawback since Pikachu will be at 0 energies after striking.

Ogerpon and more grass energy for more blissey switches.

Stretcher over rod since most cases, since trumpet grabs from the discard.
