Author's Note

For Ditto ♥

Preface

You may think I am capping, but this deck is actually good. Try it, seriously. Make sure to read below if you want a primer on the deck, it's not too hard and has lots of flexibility naturally due to Zoroark and Ditto's abilities.

Set Up

Priorities:

- Gormandize Turn 1 every time, after that you can start fronting Miltank if you get a Bibarel set up or go for Garbodor + Ditto Shedinja KOs
- Lots of Zorua!
- Turn 1 attach on Ditto/Miltank (Yveltal/Eiscue/Snorlax if matchup and possible tempo swing calls for it)
- Discard Bibarel/Garbodor/Shedinja first in most matchups
- Don't be afraid to PokeStop, there's 8 DCE, Pal Pad, and Ordinary Rod... plus you want most Pokemon and Basic Energy in discard anyway
- Raihan for instant full attach & swing on Ditto/Raticate

Active Pokemon:

- Snorlax
- Miltank
- Ditto (if attacking same turn)

Matchups

*** NOTE: This section is a work-in-progress. :) ***

How to Read

Read the numbers as a ratio. Take X:Y, where the Ditto deck wins X games out of 100 and the other deck wins Y games out of 100.

30:70 - Really tough matchup

40:60 - Ditto loses, but it is not awful

50:50 - Even matchup

60:40 - Ditto wins, but must play well and account for possible comebacks

70:30 - Ditto should never lose unless bricking/playing bad.

Mew / Genesect (40:60)

Try to set up many Zoroark and Ditto with Snorlax up front. Yveltal for at least 2 special energy (preferably Fusions). Can't KO anything with Fusion Strike Energy. Use Eiscue to combat Meloetta, it forces them to switch attackers, preparing the board for a nasty Cry of Destruction

Yveltal (Celebrations)
Eiscue (Evolving Skies)
Fusion Strike Energy (Fusion Strike)
Mew VMAX (Fusion Strike)

Palkia (40:60)

Turbo build loses harder than Inteleon build because of Quick Shooting/Aqua Bullet, but the main threat is Starmie. Try to take early KOs on Palkia and have Bibarel ready so you don't get Roxanne'd out of playing. Try to have a strong board before Star Portal is activated, this will be the breaking point if you're not careful.

Arceus / Inteleon (60:40)

Arceus / Flying Pikachu (70:30)

Duraludon / Arceus (70:30)

Rapid Strike Urshifu / Inteleon (60:40)

Dark Inteleon Toolbox (40:60 until they place a 2-prizer, then it's 60:40)

Watch out for baby Moltres Galarian Moltres (Evolving Skies)

Rapid Strike Malamar/Inteleon (40:60)

This deck generally out-tempos Ditto early, but it's possible to come back due to the nature of a full 6 prize vs. 6 prize game. Worth testing more.

Regi/Blissey/Lunatone/Stonjourner (70:30)

Eiscue/Miltank auto wins these matchups, have Ditto OHKO prepared as backup/closer

Weaknesses & Counters

Disabling abilities (Galarian Weezing (Shiny Vault) / Empoleon V (Battle Styles))

Unblockable Damage (Mew VMAX (Fusion Strike) Max Miracle, poison, Galarian Zigzagoon (Shiny Vault) pings)

Double KOs (Inteleon (Chilling Reign) / Regieleki (Evolving Skies) / Hisuian Samurott VSTAR (Astral Radiance) / Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX (Battle Styles))

Evolved, Non-V attackers. (Inteleon (Sword & Shield) / Galarian Weezing (Shiny Vault) / Malamar (Chilling Reign))

Getting milled (nobody likes that) (Durant (Battle Styles) / Centiskorch (Sword & Shield))

Lost Zone, probably.
