So what is Trap of Sparks? 

Trap of Sparks is a deck based around the Spark Trap attack of Dracozolt VMAX. This attack is extremely powerful because, while only dealing 30 damage, ensures a big hit of 120 to the opponent when they damage you. 

Strategy.

The strategy of this deck is always to get a Dracozolt VMAX into the Active Spot on Turn 2, immediately attacking for 30 damage. On your opponents turn, they will likely hit Dracozolt for some big damage, but not the 330 that they would

So what is Trap of Sparks? 

Trap of Sparks is a deck based around the Spark Trap attack of Dracozolt VMAX. This attack is extremely powerful because, while only dealing 30 damage, ensures a big hit of 120 to the opponent when they damage you. 

Strategy.

The strategy of this deck is always to get a Dracozolt VMAX into the Active Spot on Turn 2, immediately attacking for 30 damage. On your opponents turn, they will likely hit Dracozolt for some big damage, but not the 330 that they would need for an OHKO. Then, you will simply use all of your trainer cards to heal Dracozolt to max health again.

Matchup.

In the testing phase of this deck, I found that the toughest matchup was definitely Single Strike and Rapid Strike Urshifu decks, because they did so much damage with weakness I found it impossible to heal all of it. Therefore, I added in a clamperl, gorebyss and huntail so that when playing one of these decks, you can bring out a gorebyss or huntail to cramp the opposition's play. Arceus decks in comparison were a lot easier to deal with due to 200 damage being quite low for me to need to heal.
