"But wait, you can't evolve on the first turn!" Yes you can, with Salvatore! Ceruledge ex doesn't have an ability, so it can be evolved immediately by the Paldean languages teacher. From there, you dig through your deck to get as many energies as you can in the discard, safe one to be attached to the attacker. Every energy represents 20 damage, so that adds up quick!

Drilbur (Temporal Forces)   can help accelerate energy into the discard, so i'd suggest cutting 6 fire energy for 6 fightind energy

Iplaylostbox avatar

and also you want to keep energy in discard so superior energy retrieval is kinda pointless

Iplaylostbox When testing with proxies, I found that between the energy you'll be discarding and what will inevitably be prized, having 2 Superiors is a good addition to prevent running dry. Plus, you don't need to take 4 energies out if you want to, just what you need for an attack, or additional discard fodder. Drilbur might actually work as well for an additional engine for this!

maybe try some metal and psycic energy so you can hit big later on+ pokegear.

Dragonshield Since the energy stays in the discard pile for the first attack, you can often be hitting the same damage numbers for far less setup.

I've seen the Ceruledge (Surging Sparks) card and it can deal way more damage so once it comes out maybe trade that out for the ceruledge's

Espicially the "Abysal Flame" attack

I agree with @ Vulpix123 as radiant greninja would be a good addition to the deck, as well as a couple cards like Brair, Boss's orders, or at least Iron Bunle as you can get stuck with your opponent having a single prize attacker in thier active and I'd asume this deck wants to go for a 2,4,6 prize trade ignoring the single prizers. I would also take out superior retreaval for night stretcher as you dont have any pokemon recovery and night stretcher can also get the energy if needed. Salvatore is not the most realiable suppoter here as it doesen't alow any extra drawing (I think carmin would be the better supporter here especaly for going first because I've found this deck loves to go first.) Though you could play one salvatore in case your going first and with the amount of cards you draw you'll probaly find it if needed. I would also play pokegear as you can get it with pokestop and it will help getting the carmins and the one of salvatore. Drillber would help if your going for a turbo build and you could trade out some of the fighting for fire (personaly I wuold play two drillber.) Lastly I don't think ameruoge helps with any of the matchups (I would cut it for one of the other cards)

Testpro910 I'll probably do a rework of this deck to better fit the understanding here. Thanks for the criticisms!

haha, The deck is looking great now!!! I love the additions, especaliy the brair!👍

I love this deck, and am gonna buy it soon. Would it be worth it to slot in 1-2 of the new victini that buffs fire damage by 10, or is it good enough that you don't think so?

I love the use of Salvitore to turbo into Ceruledge T1! I have been testing with a different variant of Ceruledge, but it wants to turbo through the deck super quickly, and without cards like Carmine or Professor's Research, and full counts of Earthen Vessel, the deck will lose steam after the first turn. With this turboing, you also want to run full counts of Night Stretcher, since being able to recover your discarded Ceruledge ex later in the game, or if you run out of fire energy or discard an important support pokemon early on for some reason. I also think with a strategy reliant on specific supporters and stadiums like this, Secret Box might be the preferred ACE SPEC for the deck due the consistency it provides with finding Salvitore or Briar when needed. I'm planning on making a version of this deck myself as well, so I'll let you know what I come up with.

Could you make a version of this deck for post-rotation, it looks fun!
