Venusaur ex & Joltik (Destined Rivals)

A much more turbo build for Venusaur ex if you get the correct cards out.

Strategy: Go second with this deck to use either TM: Evolution or for Joltik's Jolting Charge to Utilize Venusaur's Attack when you eventually get it out. Anyways, on your first turn, get out 2 Bulbasaur's, 1 Joltik, and 1-2 Teal Mask but prioritize getting out the Bulbasaur's and Joltik. Teal Mask Ogerpon ex is your main source of Drawing Cards especially in the Early Game, though it is important to note that

Teal Mask Ogerpon ex is your main source of Drawing Cards especially in the Early Game, though it is important to note that you'll still need at least One extra Energy in order to use Joltik's Jolting Charge in order to have the Energy needed for Venusaur's Attack. Furthermore, you should try to get Shaymin out when it's needed like decks against Tera Box, Greninja ex, N's Zoroark ex, Hop's Zacian ex, and sometimes against Marnie's Grimmsnarl ex as Shaymin can block the Snipe Damage from those Attacks earlier on for your Benched Pokémon without a Rulebox. Though, do note that it doesn't protect against Damage Counters as it's a completely separate thing. Anyways, Grand Tree, the ACE SPEC of choice, allows you to get out Venusaur ex which is really helpful, especially earlier on in the game. Though, it does have some negative effects about it as your Opponent will be able to take advantage of it and due to this deck not playing much more Evolution Pokémon. Kieran helps as a Switch Card or to allow Venusaur to swing for 180/190 (Including Poison Damage) damage which is really helpful as it can allow Venusaur to take KO's more effectively. Galvantula helps as a Single Prize Attacker being able to swing for 180 with all Modifiers in play for it (Lightning Energy Attached, and the Active Pokémon of your Opponent's has an Ability). Also, Iron Leaves ex opts as another Backup Attacker since it can help finish off games when needed by swinging for 180 especially when you're unable to reach that number with Venusaur (when both Kieran's are already used). CTC: The cards I will recommend will be sorted into a list with a brief description, if there are any cards in this list or any cards you want to add in of your own, cut out cards you don't like in this list.

With that being said, here is the list:

- 2 60 HP Pidgey's, 1 80 HP Pidgeotto, 2 Pidgeot ex's - The Pidgeot ex Line opts as an alternative to the Teal Mask Draw Engine and can be more helpful at times especially since it can also take advantage of Grand Tree.

- 1-2 Munkidori's - Provides a way to make getting KO's more easier and by healing your Pokémon in the process, but it does make the Energies in the deck weirder.

- 1 Budew - Adds another alternative choice for going second by item-locking them if you can't pull off a Jolting Charge.

- 2 Brock's Scouting - Helps find Pokémon needed, especially helpful when you're item-locked.

- 4 Bug Catching Set - Makes finding your Grass Energies and Pokémon much easier.

- 2nd Earthen Vessel - Gives more ways to find Energies to use for Teal Mask Ogerpon's Teal Dance and as a way to help get an Attack off with Joltik much more effective.
