Deck Primer

Basically heal off a bunch of damage from your Venusaur with its Ability and through Munkidori's Adrena-Brain to further it.

Strategy: I'd recommend going second with this deck. Anyways, for your first turn, try and get out 1-2 Teal Mask Ogerpon's, 2-3 Bulbasaur's, and Budew if you're going second. Then use Budew's Itchy Pollen to item-lock them or to use TM: Evolution to get your Ivysaur's. Also, do note that this deck really struggles in this current format as it doesn't really do much. Anyways,

Anyways, use Teal Mask Ogerpon's Ability Teal Dance as your Draw Engine to then use Energy Switch to move it onto your Venusaur/Ivysaur/Bulbasaur while setting up your Attack. Anyways, once your Venusaur ex is establish along with a Munkidori or 2, start swinging for 150 + Poison Damage on your Opponent's Pokémon each turn while healing off your Venusaur ex with its Ability and Munkidori's Adrena-Brain. Bug Catching Set helps find basically all of your Pokémon and your Energes. Kieran is here to let Venusaur swing for 180 or for a switch card which has been quite helpful in many matches I've tested it in. Now the ACE SPEC of choice, Grand Tree, which helps evolve your Bulbasaur into a Venusaur immediately, though, there are other good options for it like Hero's Cape, Legacy Energy, and Secret Box. I don't really have much more to say about this deck so feel free to make any changes or to leave any suggestions!

Sorry if the description is poorly made, I will still continue testing this deck to see if there are any other builds that are much better for Venusaur ex.

Hey lime love your off meta decks! Would you say this deck is better than the joltik one? the joltik one feels p good, I'm trying to discern which venusaur deck is the best

Seaotter Thank you for your feedback! Also, either build works but the Joltik Build is a bit more quick paced than this variant while this version is to stall a bit with Budew while you slowly set up. So it's up to you to choose which variant you'd rather play and I'll release an updated Joltik variant later on.
