Verdant Revenge

One of my current decks that has seen pretty good results at local tournaments. The main strategy is to flood energy onto your Pokemon in order to protect them from effects using Toedscruel ex's ability; while giving your opponent two free prizes using Forrestress' energy ability, then immediately punishing them for it using Shaymin's Revenge Blast attacks. In a pinch, Toedscruel ex can also serve as an attacker with a respectable 80+ 40 per Benched Pokemon with a Grass Energy attached to them,

The main strategy is to flood energy onto your Pokemon in order to protect them from effects using Toedscruel ex's ability; while giving your opponent two free prizes using Forrestress' energy ability, then immediately punishing them for it using Shaymin's Revenge Blast attacks. In a pinch, Toedscruel ex can also serve as an attacker with a respectable 80+ 40 per Benched Pokemon with a Grass Energy attached to them, for anywhere between 80-280 potential damage.

Assuming you can get both Arven and a grass energy in-hand; the most powerful combo for this deck is going second (if you can) and using Arven to seek out Battle VIP and Technical Machine: Evolution. Use your VIP to get Pineco and Toedscool out, if you're lacking them, Shaymin taking priority after that -- then use the energy and TM:Evo to attack and immediately evolve them into Forretress ex and Toedscruel ex/Shaymin VStar. Often times, if you can get this set up going out the gate, it is very difficult for the opponent to be able to retaliate as you flood energy onto your field and start swinging.

Additionally -- this deck almost completely shuts down Roaring Moon ex, due to Toedscruel protecting anyone with Energy attached to them from its instant KO; as well as being beefy enough to survive its attack and retaliate for weakness-boosted damage. Likewise, Charizard ex also takes weakness damage from this deck.

Lastly, Flapple V is present for last-ditch efforts to slow the opponent (force their attacks to cost an extra energy) and to utilize the Forest Seal Stone (because you want your Shaymin to be using the Defiance Bands).

Unfortunately, this deck will lose the following cards upon the 2024 Rotation -- Battle VIP Pass (x4) and Flapple V (x2).  However, it will gain a new potential attacker in the form of Brambleghast from Temporal Forces - with an ability that gives it +50 HP per prize card your opponent has taken (base 100 HP + 50-250 additional HP) and an attack that costs G-C-C and flips coins equal to the energy attached to the Pokemon, dealing 80x the number of heads. The Poffins will be able to replace the VIP Passes and will work for Toedscool and Pineco, but Shaymin will have to rely on Nest Balls to pull him out. Forest Seal can either remain in the deck for use on one of your Shaymin, or be taken out for some other flex card.
