Mega Evolution gave Great Tusk a lot of new toys, including the new Lunatone engine and the ever helpful Psyduck. I've been having a lot of success on the ladder with this deck, and it's decently cheap to build as well. The aim of the deck is to disrupt your opponent as much as possible by moving their energy around and gusting their high retreat Pokemon with Counter Catcher.

Whilst you might assume that Latias ex would be a problem for the deck, because decks using it typically don't run any Switch you can trap it in the active with Sudowoodo whilst you have more cards in your deck and completely prevent your opponent from playing. Sudowoodo is also very useful in the final turns of a match during which you've likely discarded all of your opponent's switching cards. Gastrodon is important for the Mega Venusaur ex matchup, since otherwise that deck is able to freely move around energy cards to get around Handheld Fan. Mist Energy might seem weird, but it prevents Dragapult ex from placing damage counters on your bench sitters to take extra prizes (and potentially turning off Psyduck to start wreaking havoc with Dusknoir).

//Other Options//

A particularly annoying card for this deck to face is Jellicent ex, since it turns off Counter Catcher and your ability to put Pokemon and Supporters back into the deck. You could run Iron Bundle (Paradox Rift) to get it out of the active and start using items again, but I found in most other matchups it just took up deck space.

I also didn't find Shaymin (Destined Rivals) very useful - the most relevant spread card right now is Wellspring Mask Ogerpon ex which isn't doing enough damage to KO anything but Shellos and Psyduck, neither of which are needed in the TeraBox matchup.

I've seen some people play Abra (Twilight Masquerade) to prevent themselves from decking out, but getting it into the active is a big pain. Because of the high number of Super Rod in the deck, you typically wont deck yourself out if you play smart.

As always, any suggestions or input is appreciated :)
