A Gym-Leader style Walrein and Blastoise Deck, without many gimmicks, just high-HP, high-attack Evolution Pokémon slowly building up into a Snowball.

The main power of the deck is Walrein(swsh6-39)'s ability to continuously paralyse its target if it discards two energy, combining with Blastoise(sm9-25)'s ability on the bench to search and attach energy from the top 5 cards of the deck to another Pokémon. With this engine behind Walrein, it should be able to constantly attack and paralyse

The main power of the deck is Walrein(swsh6-39)'s ability to continuously paralyse its target if it discards two energy, combining with Blastoise(sm9-25)'s ability on the bench to search and attach energy from the top 5 cards of the deck to another Pokémon. With this engine behind Walrein, it should be able to constantly attack and paralyse the Active Pokemon, using Super Rod to return energy to the deck for more favourable odds from Blastoise.

It should serve as a decent boss battle deck for evolution trainer decks, but despite its potentially brutal continual paralysis, it lacks ways to swap or discard benched opponents, prevent Pokemon retreating, or preventing revenge K.O's once it defeats an opponent. The inconsistency and slowness of drawing and evolving two separate Stage 2 Pokémon will also mean it has a considerable start-up that can be taken advantage of.

Overall, should be an interesting boss deck for friends to beat, if played against decks of a similar level.
