You may have noticed a trend with me. I love Hisuaian Goodra. It allows me to play around with different Metal decks. I first made a more aggressive deck with Zacian V. This time I take a more defensive route with Galarian Stunfisk V. Its attack, Trap Bite, may only do 60 damage, but if your opponent attacks it next turn, it takes on 12 damage counters. That is, if it can even attack Galarian Stunfisk V. If your opponent attacks Galarian Stunfisk V with a non-V pokemon, the 12 damage counters are more than likely going to knock it out. And if they choose to gust up Huisian Goodra to get rid of its ability, they’re only taking one prize card. And not to worry, you should be able to set up multiple Hisuian Goodras. It’s important to note that Galarian Stunfisk V’s ability, Metal Skin, increases its HP by +20 for every Metal Energy attached to it.

This deck features Crystal Cave, which can heal Dragon and Metal Pokemon, both of which are in this deck. This is helpful for two reasons. First, it allows you to heal Galarian Stunfisk V, making it take two or more attacks to knock it out, piling the damage onto your opponent’s Pokemon. This also heals your Hisuian Goodra on the bench, in case your opponent damages it with something like Radiant Greninja, making it a 3-shot to knock it out; very unlikely that your opponent can pull that off. I have also added Earthen Seal Stone to the deck, ensuring that if a Pokemon V is able to attack Galarian Stunfisk V, they will knock themselves out.
