Deck Primer

So here's a deck that I played against in PTCGL. I got destroyed (the deck was good!) and decided I would post it on here. It's a little confusing, but before I explain it to you, here are the proxies:

Virizion V = Iron Leaves ex (Temptoral Forces)

Battle VIP Pass = Buddy Poffin (Temptoral Forces)

Pokemon Catcher = Prime Catcher (Temptoral Forces)

Okay, so at first glance you might feel overwhelmed. There's a lot of things you can do with this deck! You always want to go second with this deck.

So here's a deck that I played against in PTCGL. I got destroyed (the deck was good!) and decided I would post it on here. It's a little confusing, but before I explain it to you, here are the proxies:

Virizion V = Iron Leaves ex (Temptoral Forces)

Pokemon Catcher = Prime Catcher (Temptoral Forces)

Okay, so at first glance you might feel overwhelmed. There's a lot of things you can do with this deck! You always want to go second with this deck. The first step is to get all of the basic grass pokemon out. (Or at least most of them.) Your best option here is to use Arven. It can search your deck for Buddy Poffin (once it releases) and TM Evolution, which is top priority.

Then, use TM Evolution. The best ones to evolve would be Toedscruel and Pineco, but Pineco is way more important. Then, sit back while your opponent takes their turn. After that's done, you can use Forretress ex's ability to move energy around to all of your Pokemon.

By then you probably have a Wo-Chien ex on your bench. Make sure you charge that up with Forretress ex, then swap the Wo-Chien ex into the active. And now is when this deck gets fun.

So now is where the fun begins. You should already be down 2 or more (unlikely) in prizes, so you can troll your opponent. Counter Catcher works, Iono, see, this is where you can take the upper hand. This is also where your Wo-Chien ex will do 180+ bench damage! Coincidence? I think not.

You also have Toedscruel and the little Wo-Chien as backup attackers, enjoy. ;)
