Deck Primer

Wyrdeer V (Astral Radiance) , is the best partner for Darkrai VSTAR (Astral Radiance) . Here's why!

a. Darkrai utilises large amounts of energy to switch onto Wyrdeer

b. Hiding Darkness Energy (Darkness Ablaze)  gives FREE retreat, meaning you can set up the combo without a switch card

c. If wyrdeer is KOed you can just use a Dark Patch (Astral Radiance)  to recover that energy, or an Exp. Share (Battle Styles) .

d. RECOVER DARK PATCHES

Anyways this deck has multiple magic numbers

Anyways this deck has multiple magic numbers to hit. For Darkrai, most V pokemon have less than 230HP, so only 6-7 energy is required in play. This number is very similar to Wyrdeer's VSTAR & VMAX number of 7-9 (kricketune rillaboom and others are 10+, but those are not very common at the moment). Then in order to get this energy into play you can use dark patches, both Moltres (Galarian Moltres (Evolving Skies)+ Galarian Moltres V (Chilling Reign))& hand attachment too.  Cape of Toughness (Darkness Ablaze)  gives a higher chance of your energy not being wasted on the Wyrdeer. Then late game you can begin using the single prize moltres.

Sordward & Shielbert (Battle Styles)  is a fun card K, no dissing them, you can switch this for an Avery (Chilling Reign)  or any other card, but I think recovering a trainer card (for instance a dark patch or an escape rope) or drawing 3 cards is great. Because you force your opponent to think about what you really want from the card (why does nobody use this?).

Anyways have fun Trainers!
