Not much strategy other than see what opponent plays and then improvise, adapt, overcome!

Hypno and being lucky with coin flips is the heart of the strategy, the ditto is there to use whatever basic maybe in the discard also to be able to discard mime jr and not have it sitting on bench or active as vulnerable as it is to prevent potential double knockouts.

Mostlikely need to adjust some balancing with cards as this is untested

why is the Mime Jr a shiny? Why not just a normal one? They both do the same thing.

I just took the first Mime Jr. (Paldean Fates) I saw. Mime Jr. (Paldean Fates) works just as well as you pointed out.
