Deck Primer

Update #2, deck tested out at local store standard tournament night, went 5-0-1, that's 5 wins and 1 loss. Some great matchups for this deck, I only seemed to struggle against lugia vstar that had the new single strike stonejourner tech, I've never played against that deck before and made some mistakes.

update #1, added in single prize attacker Regieleki so that damage can be set up for zeraora vmax k0's and magnezone vstar bench k0's and you are able to trade with single prize Pokémon

Update #2, deck tested out at local store standard tournament night, went 5-0-1, that's 5 wins and 1 loss. Some great matchups for this deck, I only seemed to struggle against lugia vstar that had the new single strike stonejourner tech, I've never played against that deck before and made some mistakes.

update #1, added in single prize attacker Regieleki so that damage can be set up for zeraora vmax k0's and magnezone vstar bench k0's and you are able to trade with single prize Pokémon 120hp or less.

refined miradon ex zeraora vmax deck with more tech cards, some copies adjusted (4 down to 3 generators because of the flaafy), one extra level ball for all the basic pokemon. Magnezone vstar replacing the zerora vstar due to the energy cost is much lower and being able to search for item cards for 10 less damge is much better than 190. Magnezone vstar power choice for k0ing lost box pokemon, kirlia and low hp pokemon, sky seal stone fro raichu v or drapion v knockouts on vmax, forest seal stone for turn 1 knockout combo with arven. replaced capturing aroma with pokegear, supporters are key in this deck. Added in radiant greninja, helps put energy in the discard pile and draws you 2 cards, best non lightning tech card basic you could use, and it has 1 retreat for the beach court. Going to try it out tomorrow at the local store games night event.

no pokemon recovery cards, wish i had super rod, would like to add two into the deck when they come into rotation. Possibly replace serena and one energy card with the super rods. Super rod works well with miraidon ex, you can put the pokemon back in the deck and miradon zooms it back out into play instantly.

Regieleki added in to fix numbers, some calculations below.

Luxray v can paralyse dealing 120 damage to a Pokémon v or basic ex (220-230 hp), Regieleki following turn can finish k0 and set up bench damage for magnezone vstar power or follow up knockouts on vstar or vmax pokemon.

40 bench damage onto v's let zeraora vmax 240 damage k0 vstars

40 bench damage onto 130 hp Pokémon like radiant greninja and single prize basic attackers in lugia, allow magnezone vstar power to pick up knockouts.

40 damage in a benched 330 hp vmax means that raichu v only needs to hit 300 to k0 (5energies) and 40 damage onto vstars means that raichu v only needs 4 energies to k0 vstars.
