I'm not an expert on GLC decks, but I think you could upgrade this deck using Frosmoth (Sword & Shield) . It has a similar ability to baxcaliber and can give you an alternative way to accelerate energy if any of your baxes are prized. It only attaches to the bench, however, it might force you to rely on retreat cards such as float stone.
