Deck Primer

Seems to be the more successful variant in the current format.

Strategy: I strongly suggest going second with this deck as it is quite important to use TM: Evolution. Anyways, on your First Turn, try and get out 2-3 Ralts, 1-2 Munkidori's (1 is probably better), Shaymin (Optional, but should be in play if you're against decks like Tera Greninja ex, TeraBox, and other decks with Snipe Attacks that don't involve Damage Counters), Mew ex (Optional but provides a pivot and draw support),

Seems to be the more successful variant in the current format.

Strategy: I strongly suggest going second with this deck as it is quite important to use TM: Evolution. Anyways, on your First Turn, try and get out 2-3 Ralts, 1-2 Munkidori's (1 is probably better), Shaymin (Optional, but should be in play if you're against decks like Tera Greninja ex, TeraBox, and other decks with Snipe Attacks that don't involve Damage Counters), Mew ex (Optional but provides a pivot and draw support), and Frillish (Optional, only use if you want to item-lock them or to use Jellicent in the future). You could also get out Drifloon or Scream Tail, but it's better to keep them hidden so they don't get KO'd right away. During this turn you should prioritize getting as many Psychic Energies into the Discard Pile as possible in order to deal high amounts of damage in the future, and try to get a Darkness Energy attached to Munkidori or to attach an Energy to your Active Pokémon to use TM: Evolution. Professor's Research (Discards all Cards in your hand), Ultra Ball (Discards 2 Cards form your hand), Earthen Vessel (Discards 1 Card from your hand), and Secret Box (Discards 3 Cards from your hand) makes getting your Psychic Energy into the Discard Pile much more efficient. Artazon helps find your Basic Non-Rulebox Pokémon which helps you a lot in the Early Game while you search for your Pokémon which can be searched through Secret Box, the ACE SPEC of choice, as it lets you get out an Item, a Supporter, a Tool Card, and a Stadium while discarding 3 Cards from your hand which is really helpful for this deck. It can even be searched through Arven making it even better to have. Anyways, you should try and be able to use Ultra Ball or any other method to evolve your Kirlia into Gardevoir ex during your next turn. Bravery Charm makes your Basic Pokémon gain 50 more HP which allows Drifloon and Scream Tail to deal more damage. Lillie's Clefairy ex makes your matchups against Dragon Type Decks much easier to face against. Mew ex's Genome Hacking can be helpful at times as well as it can copy one of your Opponent's Active Pokémon's Attacks which can also easily be achieved due to Gardy's Ability, Psychic Embrace, which puts 2 Damage Counters on 1 of your Psychic Pokémon while attaching a Psychic Energy from your Discard Pile onto that Pokémon. That damage can easily be moved off of your Mew ex as well due to Munkidori. Furthermore, Gardy's Attack Miracle Force deals 190 Damage which is decent but it can help finish off a Pokémon at times or when you're in a pinch and need to deal decent damage while using a Pokémon with High HP. That damage placed onto Gardy can also be moved off due to Munkidori which helps you take more KO's. Jellicent ex helps when you wish to play slower to slowly set up your Gardy and getting Psychic Energies into the Discard Pile as it shuts off your Opponent's Tool Cards and Item Cards as long it is in the Active Spot. The rest of this deck should be self-explanatory so feel free to make any changes, ask any questions, or to leave any suggestions!

CTC: The cards that I'd recommend to add in as an alternative will be sorted into a list with a brief description, if there are any cards here or any cards you wish to add in from your own thoughts/ideas, cut out any cards that don't fit your preferences or any cards you don't find needed, with that being said, here is the list:

- 1 Flutter Mane (TEF) - Shuts off your Opponent's Active Pokémon's Ability

- 1 Klefki (SVI) - Shuts off all Basic Pokémon's Abilities, helpful against decks like Joltik Box, Miraidon ex, and other Big Basic decks.

- 4th Munkidori (TWM) - More consistency and makes getting mulligans less common.

- 1 Cleffa (OBF) - Grasping Draw provides more Draw Support, useful in the Early Game.

- 1 Budew - Alternative to the Jellicent ex Line.

- 1 Boss's Orders - Provides more gust.

- 1 Turo's Scenario - Resets Gardy or Jellicent ex along with any other Pokémon.

- 1 Energy Switch - Moves Energy around.

- 2nd Counter Catcher - Provides more gust.

- Brilliant Blender - Alternative to Secret Box, can get 5 Psychic Energies into the Discard Pile right away.

- 1 TM: Turbo Energize - Helpful at getting Energy onto your Pokémon, helpful in Mirror Matches.

- 1 TM: Devolution - Can help take many KO's at times or to stall against Stage Two decks by having Jellicent ex item-lock them after devolving them into their previous stage.

- 1 Moonlit Hill - Discards a Psychic Energy and heals your Psychic Pokémon slightly which can help stop some KO's from your Opponent by ruining the math.

- 4th Darkness Energy - Helps with the 4th Munkidori.

That concludes the CTC (Cards to Consider) section, so feel free to do whatever you want with this deck and have a good day!

I apologize for being away for 2 days, but I have returned again.

To help you get your attackers (and Ralts) you could play Buddy-Buddy Poffin. I really like your decks by the way

Pe7son As mentioned in the CTC section, I listed Buddy-Buddy Poffin in it, but I will make that change. Thank you for your feedback!

hi old friend i have new decks if you want to look at them

deckdex avatar

Was this copied? I see striking similarities with tournament decks in here.

LimeLemon avatar

deckdex I didn't copy any tournament builds, all I did was add in Frillish and Jellicent ex from my Gardy Build I used in Destined Rivals with slight changes from it like cutting 1 Counter Catcher as I didn't find myself needing 2 and cutting 1 TM: Evolution out to add Poffin back in since someone suggested me to. I can see why it similar to tournament builds, but Gardy is one of the most successful decks so far so of course many decks ran would look similar to each other. I can provide further proof if needed. Besides that have a good day.
