Gholdengo ex & Dragapult ex (Destined Rivals)

Sorry for not posting the past two days, I spent those days testing many Gholdengo builds to pick which one to release first. Anyways, this deck is one of the better ways to play Gholdengo but Ethan's Typhlosion seems decent to try out as well.

Strategy: I'd recommend going second with this deck to utilize TM: Evolution to evolve your Pokémon as soon as you can. Then try to get 1 Gholdengo and 1 Drakloak or 2 Gholdengo's. You also have other options for going second by using Minor Errand-Running

Strategy: I'd recommend going second with this deck to utilize TM: Evolution to evolve your Pokémon as soon as you can. Then try to get 1 Gholdengo and 1 Drakloak or 2 Gholdengo's. You also have other options for going second by using Minor Errand-Running to get out a few Energies for later. Anyways, for your First Turn, get out 2-3 Gimmighoul's, 1-2 Dreepy's, and Munkidori. These cards are staples throughout the game and you can also get out Genesect to shut off their ACE SPEC's if you have Vengeful Punch in hand to attach it to Genesect since TM: Evolution doesn't last forever on a Pokémon. The two options for what to do were already stated for going second and do be careful with ESP (Energy Search Pro) as if they Iono in hand, all your Energies will go away so save it until you can pull off a huge attack with Gholdengo. Munkidori helps remove damage off of your Pokémon and move it onto your Opponent's which combines with Pult's Phantom Dive and makes getting KO's with Gholdengo much easier. Arven and Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking are your best Supporter Cards as Arven gets your Items and Tool Cards out while Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking gets any two cards of choice at the top of your deck which you can get out with Gholdengo's Ability Coin Bonus to get 1 of the cards or both if it's in the Active. This deck has many ways to thin out your deck like your Engine Drakloak and through your Gholdengo's Coin Bonus. Superior Energy Retrieval helps recover your Energy after a Huge Attack with Gholdengo to help you reach another Huge Atttack. Also, do note that if you discard an Energy with Superior Energy Retreival, you cannot recover that Energy as well, I have tested that a couple of times. Anyways, Stretcher also helps recover your Energy or a Pokémon which is really helpful. Artazon helps search out for your Non-Rulebox Pokémon earlier on, and Jamming Tower shuts off your Opponent's tools later on in the game when you no longer need your Tools. I'm surprised this deck hasn't seen much play in Destines Rivals yet even though it's really good. Anyways, that's all for the strategy section so feel free to make any changes or to leave any suggestions!

CTC: The cards will be in a list with a brief explanation and the cards to cut to add them will be explained at the end.

- 1 Gimmighoul with Continuous Coin Toss - Quite a niche attacker but decent early on in the game if you're feeling lucky.

- 1 Gholdengo with Strike it Rich - Decent single prize Attacker but only useful when you evolve it during that turn.

- 1 Iron Bundle - Decent gusting option early on in the game or a way to brick your opponent later on and much more scenarios.

- 1 Turo's Scenario - Decent way to remove all damage from your Pult or Gholdengo.

- 1 Crispin - Another decent way to get your Energy into play but is kind of odd.

- 2 Pokégears - Great way to search your deck for your supporters but I don't personally run it since the draw support is quite strong.

- Super Rod - Decent recovery option but mainly used to get your Pokémon back into your deck.

- Levincia - Only run this if you play 2 Lightning Energy as you can get two Energies back constantly per turn to deal at least 100 Damage.

- 2nd Lightning Energy - Only used to combine with Levincia.

Now for Levincia, cut either Artazon or Jamming Tower, for Bundle, cut Genesect and add in something else for Vengeful Punch. To add in Turo's Scenario, cut Artazon, for a Gimmighoul with Continuous coin Toss, cut out a Gimmighoul with Minor Errand-Run, for the Gholdengo with Strike it Rich, cut Artazon, for the Lightning Energy, cut something like the second Darkness Energy. Now for the 2 Pokégears, cut Artazon and Switch. If you want Super Rod just cut one Night Stretcher.
