Deck Primer

Probably the second best way to play Gholdengo ex in the current format after the Pult build.

Strategy: Like any other Gholdengo deck, go second. Anyways, for your first turn, get out 2-3 Gimmighoul's and 1-2 Dunsparce's. You could also get out Scyther if needed for that matchup. Anyways, then try to find TM: Evolution to get out 2 Gholdengo ex's or 1 Gholdengo ex and Dunsparce.

Furthermore, getting cards you need is relatively easy due to how insane the draw engine is in this deck due to Gholdengo ex and Dudunsparce. So finding ESP (Energy Search Pro) should be fairly easy especially due to Arven and Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking. Superior Energy Retrieval helps recover your Energy after doing a massive attack with Gholdengo. Munkidori helps move off damage from your Pokémon to then move it onto your Opponent's. Fezandipiti ex adds further draw support after your Pokémon was KO'd during your Opponent's previous turn. Also, something to be cautious about is to not bench Fez right away, as your Opponent may tend to avoid letting you get Flipt the Script so they keep that Pokémon you're trying to give up in the Active. Now, ESP the ACE SPEC of choice, helps you get out every single Energy which can then allow Gholdengo to discard it all in order to do a massive attack which is insane. Do be careful when using it as it'll make your Opponent Iono you if they have it in hand to prevent your Attack from happening. Furthermore, Scizor is here to opt as a backup attacker when your Opponent has many Pokémon with Abilities in play, and Dudunsparce ex is here as another backup attacker which has been really helpful in many matchups whether it's against a deck that plays a lot of ex's or to use the other attack in order to ignore all effects from your Opponent's Active Pokémon. Jamming Tower helps shut off your Opponent's tools so only make sure to use this to bump their stadium or some time after you use TM: Evolution, so don't use this during your first turn if you have it in hand. That's all for the strategy section, so feel free to make any changes or to leave any suggestions!

CTC: The cards will sorted in a list with a brief description, cut out cards you find unneeded to add in any of these cards or any cards you want to add in yourself.

Anyways, here's the list:

- 4th Gimmighoul with Minor-Errand Running - Typically ran at 4 due to the attack, but I run one with Continuous Coin Flip for the potential of a decent attack if I'm feeling lucky.

- 3rd 70 HP Dunsparce - Probably better to run 3 of these instead of 2 and 1 60 HP Dunsparce, but the free retreat is nice.

- 1 Iron Bundle - Provides good early game gust.

- Genesect - Shuts off their ACE SPEC's when a tool is attached to it.

- 1 Morty's Conviction - Decent tech card for drawing cards.

- 2 Pokégear - Helps make finding your Supporter cards a lot easier even though the draw engine is already good.

- Vengeful Punch - Mainly used to force some damage onto your Opponent but only should be used if Genesect is ran.

- 1 Levincia - Good to recover Lightning Energy but then the count for it should be increased to 2.

- 1 Artazon - Another way to find your Non-Rulebox Pokémon earlier on.

- 2nd Lightning Energy - Only should be added if Levincia is added.

Thats all for the cards I could suggest so have a good day!
