Deck Primer

GLC Lightning Spread Deck centered around Raichu and Electivire.

Game plan/-play:
1) Start/Early Game:
-> In general this deck is pretty straight forward. In the first/second turn try to get Elekid or Tapu Koko into Active Spot and start using their attacks to spread damage among the opponent's Pokémon. Tapu Koko is preferred since its Flying Flip Attack is stronger, but Elekid can start attacking immediately.
-> Try to put Stormy Mountains in play to start putting the other

GLC Lightning Spread Deck centered around Raichu and Electivire.

Game plan/-play:
1) Start/Early Game:
-> In general this deck is pretty straight forward. In the first/second turn try to get Elekid or Tapu Koko into Active Spot and start using their attacks to spread damage among the opponent's Pokémon. Tapu Koko is preferred since its Flying Flip Attack is stronger, but Elekid can start attacking immediately.
-> Try to put Stormy Mountains in play to start putting the other Basic Pokémon on the Bench. Or put Aether Paradise Conservation Area into play so that Elekid or Tapu Koko can tank a bit more damage.
-> Try to get Rare Fossil on the Bench as early as possible using Supporter cards (Volkner, Arven, Cara Liss) and evolve it into Arctozolt as fast as possible. The early it is in play, the more annoying its Ability is for the opponent. Especially against a spread deck like this.

2) Mid-Game:
-> Now the main priority is to get the two main attackers Raichu and/or Electivire set up and into Active Spot. Use their Collateral Bolts and High-Voltage Current Attacks to (hopefully) deal finishing blows to multiple of opponent's Pokémon (especially Support Pokémon which tend to have fewer HP).
-> If the opponent has very high HP Pokémon in play which would tank >=3 Attacks from Raichu or Electivire, either set up and use Luxray's Scar Strikes Attack (200 DMG for 2 Energy if a DMG counter is on the opposing Pokémon) or Technical Machine: Devolution to devolve those Pokémon and their Pre-Evolutions are likely to die to the damage already on them.

3) Late Game/Being behind:
-> Flaaffy's Dynamotor Ability can be used to faster set up defeated attackers which have been brought back into play. Or if you are in a dire situation, Ampharos's Unseen Flash Ability can be used to prevent the opponent's Active Pokémon from attacking for a turn or two. And it's Split Bomb Attack can also spread damage.
-> Else, the same rotation as in Early and Mid-Game.
-> Use Elekid or Tapu Koko to spread damage if the main attackers are in discard pile. Try to get Raichu and/or Electivire back into play and k.o. opponent's Pokémon which already have DMG counters on them.

Disclaimer:
- Comments, ideas, etc. are welcome!
- All my decks are mostly built around a theme and built for fun games in the local GLC friends group and LGS.
- Since I'm not a competitive player, this deck it's not meant/recommended for GLC tournament play.
- All my decks have been built/are organized on limitlesstcg.com beforehand and have been tested in https://ptcgsim.online/ and games against friends. They have gone through a lot of changes and I compared them with decks from other players (GLC tournament decks, pokemoncard.io, cardboardwarriors.net, etc.) before I upload them. So I think they are okay as they are.
- However, I'm still open to recommendations for cards that fit into the deck's “theme” and can improve it.
- My decks are subject to change as I update them regularly when new GLC legal sets/cards release.
