Deck Primer

GLC Grass High Energy Deck centered around Meganium and its Wild Growth Ability.
I call Decks containing Pokémon with such Abilities "High Energy" Decks since 1 Basic Energy provides more/higher energy than usual.

Game plan/-play:
1) Start/Early Game:
-> Early on, focus on getting the Pokémon tutors Shiinotic and Grotle into play. With their Abilities they help to get the needed Pokémon into hand and play pretty quickly.
-> Then start working on getting Meganium and Rillaboom

Game plan/-play:
1) Start/Early Game:
-> Early on, focus on getting the Pokémon tutors Shiinotic and Grotle into play. With their Abilities they help to get the needed Pokémon into hand and play pretty quickly.
-> Then start working on getting Meganium and Rillaboom into play. Meganium has higher priority since it's the card this deck is built around. To get Meganium out on turn 1-2 the cards Dawn, Rare Candy, Technical Machine: Evolution, and Forest of Vitality are needed.
-> Try to get Zarude into Active Spot for the few turns to help getting Pokémon into hand with its Pack Call Attack.
-> Then use either Zarude or Genesect as Early Game Attackers.

2) Mid-Game:
-> Genesect and Torterra are the main Attackers in Mid-Game.
-> Put some resources (energy cards) into Genesect for it to be able to snipe Pokémon on opponent's bench.
-> Once most of the Pokémon are in play, evolve Grotle into Torterra to use it as Attacker.
-> Use Rillaboom's Ability to put Basic Grass Energy on attackers that need to be set up.
-> Wishful Baton can be put on an Attacker to set up the next Attacker immediately if the currently active Attacker is knocked out. Usually Wishful Baton is attached to Zarude or Genesect.

3) Late Game/Being behind:
-> The main Late Game Attacker is Brambleghast. The more prizes your opponent's draws the stronger it gets. And with a lot of Basic Grass Energy attached and/or Meganium being still in play, it can knock out pretty much any Pokémon in GLC format.

- All my decks are mostly built around a theme and built for fun games in the local GLC friends group and LGS.
- Since I'm not a competitive player, this deck it's not meant/recommended for GLC tournament play.
- All my decks have been built/are organized on limitlesstcg.com beforehand and have been tested in https://ptcgsim.online/ and games against friends. They have gone through a lot of changes and I compared them with decks from other players (GLC tournament decks, pokemoncard.io, cardboardwarriors.net, etc.) before I upload them. So I think they are okay as they are.
- However, I'm still open to recommendations for cards that fit into the deck's “theme” and can improve it.
- My decks are subject to change as I update them regularly when new GLC legal sets/cards release.
