Some grass spread GLC ideas I had. WIP.

Apparently, this deck was selected as a deck submission of the day, so I will try and offer up a few thoughts as I think through iterations of this idea and play test it this week.

Apparently, this deck was selected as a deck submission of the day, so I will try and offer up a few thoughts as I think through iterations of this idea and play test it this week.

For starters, the core idea of this deck is to spread damage with easy energy costs with Yanma (Crown Zenith), Lurantis (Unified Minds), and Hisuian Lilligant (Astral Radiance). These are the early game attackers to start softening up the opponent's side of the field and maybe take a few early knock outs if the opponent has a slow start. The presence of gusting cards in this list is an attempt to stick something awkward in the active spot to slow your opponent down and buy yourself enough turns to place damage counters everywhere.

The late game attackers are Decidueye (Cosmic Eclipse) and Jumpluff (Evolving Skies). Decidueye will be easy to power up with Twin Energy (Rebel Clash), Double Colorless Energy (XY), and/or Counter Energy (Crimson Invasion).By this point in the game, most of your opponent's side of the field should be an eligible target for the effect of Tracking Shot. If not, Skill Dive is still an effective snipe. Jumpluff (Evolving Skies) is the game finisher and clutch moment maker. Equipping TM Blindside and twin, DCE, or counter on top of an existing basic energy can turn Jumpluff into a two prize taking machine. Yes, it is quite a big ask, but the deck runs supporters to help pull missing combo pieces from the deck. The deck also runs Rapid Strike Scroll of Swirls (Battle Styles) as a possibility, but play testing will tell me if this is just a pipe dream or not. It's probably going to be a dead card in most games. But the dream of the spread it offers is tempting.

Lurantis (Unified Minds) also offers some hard-hitting late game action with Sol Blade. I am considering running Scovillain (Scarlet & Violet) over Hisuian Lilligant (Astral Radiance) to help establish another heavy hitter for this deck and to synergize better with all of the special energy and basic fire inclusion. H. Lilligant also does not have any obvious swith-ins after hitting the Twister Lutz.

Of course, Celebi (XY Black Star Promos) is a possibility. I opted for Yanma, because Yanmega (Crown Zenith) can also function as a late game attacker. Plus, I do not have a copy of the Celebi IRL.

I will add more thoughts as I think through the deck. Open to suggestions.
