This deck doesn't require you to use a lot of energy. Maybe 1 to Luxray if you open it to help set up. Other than that just to Lanturn to keep getting cards from the discard to be able to paralyze with Raichu every turn. Luxio is a back up once Lanturn goes down to item lock. You could power up all 3 with just Recycle energy. Have Cyllene to hopefully recycle items on the turn Lanturn goes down so you can set it back up quickly. Counter Gain will also work to use these attacks without any energy and I have Lana's fishing rod to recycle that as well. Not really aimed at taking prizes just making it so your opponent can't do anything either and deck them out. Grant's version of this deck plays even less energy.
