The main idea is to induce poison and burn damage on the opponent. Althought it is really hard to kill like this, it helps to add some damage and make it harder for the opponent to setup and work around your strategy, giving you more time to set up torterra, beedrill or Victreebel as the main attackers. Roserade can help to put some bench damage and kill runaways.

Sawsbuck is important to help you setting up and making sure you always have what you need. Don't get too attach to the idea to have grotle

Sawsbuck is important to help you setting up and making sure you always have what you need. Don't get too attach to the idea to have grotle and grovyle bringing mons on every turn, both are here to set up the benco for torterra to attack. It's ok if you can't always return butterfree to hand to do some more poisoning, just keep setting up and attacking with other mons.

There are very few energy, so think well were to invest, eventhought the attacks are low cost, ypu don't have much room for erros..

FEEL FREE TO TEST IT, CHANGE IT AND GIVE FEEDBACK - I'd be really glad you tell me your opnion and how You's improve this idea.

Planning to go to a small shop tornment next week, If I can, I'll bring more feedbacks and ideas.

This is a relatively hard to use deck, but it becomes relly fun to play when you understand what you need to do. I don't think it will become a new meta in the future, but helps to bring a cool concept and change some things.

A suggestion is to you try and test it on the limitless deck simulator against some other decks, specially meta ones, and see if you like it

After some tests and getting real cards: (You can see why I made some changes after the tests results)

- The last updtade was really weak against meta decks, specially ability lock ones, so I added stealthy hood and cancelling cologne to help me against those matchups. Even if I'm not against an ability lock deck, the cologne can help with some disrupting and control.

-Sawsbuck was other great modification. It can help as a draw engine and helps with consistecy.

-Now grovyle helps with pokemon search,
avoiding the need for gladio and peonia on the same deck.

-Cassius and Devolution spray helps to bring butterfree back to hand/deck without loosing attached cards or needing damage to do so.

-Dust Island helps to mantain status condition even with cards that can switch pokémon

-The previous build was filled with balls, so took some out

-Red and Skyla help to search for cards and seting up Beedrill as an attacker

- Beedrill can become a great attacker and a draw engine to finish some mons on the other side of the fild

(v2)
- Cassius and devolve spray help to return Butterfree more easily
- Did some changes to balance some search, supporter and not flood the hand with something unnecessary.
