Water GLC deck that tries to set up one of three tanky attackers

The goal is to get  Cloyster, Cetitan, or Wailord set up with tools that either increase HP or reduce damage taken to let them survive for multiple turns. Vulpix and Basculin are the ideal starters to help get the bench set up early. Frosmoth accelerates energy to the bench that you can find with either professor's letter or capacious bucket, and Kingdra can serve as either hand disruption for your opponent or to help you cycle through your deck to find what you need.

This deck tends to go down early in prizes because it takes some time to get your big attackers set up. Don't worry if your opponent gets a quick knock out or two before you have fully built your board. This deck is very good at coming back from an early deficit. You can sacrifice the Vulpix, Basculin, or even Manaphy early. The ideal set up is to have Kingdra and Frosmoth on the bench with at least one of your stage one attackers. Cloyster is the better attacker early as it takes only two energy and does well into the lower stage pokemon with its significant damage negation. Cetitan and Wailord are the late game threats, hitting for 220 and 240 respectively. Getting either of them set up with a defensive tool will usually allow them to take at least two to three knock outs. Try to get multiple attackers ready with energy on the bench through Frosmoth if possible as the game progresses, as the deck cannot accelerate energy to the active spot if you have to bring an attacker up before it is ready.
